Celebrating IWD: International Women’s Day On 7th March 2014, in collaboration with Higher Education Commission, Anjuman Taraqqi-e-Niswan, and Social Work Department.
- At this occasion Home-Based Working women will display and sale their handmade items, which includes the following: mobile covers, university/college Bags, unstitched embroidery Suits and Karchopi Suits/ Beads embedded Abbaya, Carpet Weaving, Karoshia handmade items, Bangles, Flower Making etc.
- At this day Launch of 8th volume of Pakistan journal of gender studies will be held.
- Poster competition will take place between students on the theme “Ageing Home-Based Working Women”.
- Honorable Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Qaiser will preside the session.
